Beautiful Bouquet Series – Dahlia Tunnels Floral Photography + Bouquet Building at Deo Gloria Farm

A beautiful weaving of two favorite worlds come together when Nicola and Nancy brainstorm their arts and love of teaching others.

In the first half of the workshop, you will join fine art photographer Nancy Merkling as she teaches the art and technical part of photographing flowers up close as well as growing in their environment. The dahlia tunnels at Deo Gloria Farm provide phenomenal vignettes for shooting an abundance of beautiful floral photography.

A 15 min break to use the restroom and then Nicola Birch takes over to impart her artful wisdom surrounding the elements of floral arranging. Students will be guided in design, walked through the gardens to choose their flora and then back to their individual work areas to create their own bouquet under the tutelage of Nicola. This portion of the workshop also includes an individual charcuterie box to nibble through while creating.
