One workshop with Nancy and my "point and pray" photography days were over--I knew what I was doing! She explained exposure in a way that my creative brain actually understood, then had us practice during class until we had it down. Plus, she's a delight to be with--an engaging and entertaining mentor who really knows her stuff and brings such fun energy to the process.

I LOVE Nancy's workshops! She is an excellent instructor and knows how to give you just enough to take away, rather than overwhelming you with too much information. She creates a fun & comfortable environment for learning and really takes the time to make sure you understand. She is patient and kind. I recommend all of her workshops. They are affordable enough so you can take them and then take them again to reinforce your new skills. I cannot say enough about these workshops! They are wonderful!

What I love most about Nancy is her contagious energy and passion for her work. Her classes have taught me a lot about making my photography better, organizing my goals and continuing to love the learning in any of the arts.

Nancy was recommended to me by a friend about two years ago. It was one of the best recommendations that I have ever received. I have taken two of Nancy's photography courses ( Simply Learn - Your Camera and Simply Learn - Composition and Black&White ) and I LOVED Nancy's enthusiasm, passion and her incredible knowledge of photography. She knows how to make learning fun!! I enjoyed Nancy's method of teaching so much that a friend of mine and I hired Nancy for a private tutoring session that focused on portrait photography. We learned so much and received such useful tips. In fact, one of the best gifts that I got this Christmas from my friend is another private session with Nancy in which she will go over our photography and give us pointers and review what we are doing well and what we need to work on. I can't wait!! I can honestly say that investing in one of Nancy's workshops will be one of the best investments you will make in your pursuit of photography! Not having to block off a day or more to attend a workshop is a big plus in my book. Nancy's relaxed style of instruction, along with the hands on portion of the workshop really allows you to feel welcomed and comfortable. No matter what your level of experience invest a little to improve your photography!

Nancy is one of the most genuine people I know. The first time I attended one of her classes, I learned so much. The bonus was… She touched my heart too. It's hard to put in 3 short sentences exactly how I feel about Nancy's photography workshops. I will say this, Nancy is a wonderfully inspiring person. I have learned and put to use so much from the 3 workshops I have had the pleasure of attending. Not just about photography. But about myself, people, and the importance of relationships. In fact, the very first workshop I experienced, Nancy (unbeknownst to her) has inspired me to pursue my passion. I plan on taking classes in the fall to work on getting a certificate in photography. And I am so looking forward to being present for more of Nancy's teachings in the very near future.
